SERVICES

The first recorded service is dated 4th April 1886 some five years before the church was consecrated.

The services were held in the Hotel Bellevue and often had to be held twice for lack of space and numbers in the congregation

Typically Sunday services, in the early years, consisted of:
Holy Communion at 8:30 am
Matins at 11:00 am
Holy Communion at 12:00 am
Evensong at 5:30 pm

In the 120 year history of Church activity, 11,448 services of various kinds have taken place (Weekly, Sunday, Baptisms and Blessings), while 10,821 services have been held in the Church.

Over the same period 256,110 people have attended one or more services (18.940 in the Bellevue and 238,020 in the Church).
