SEASON

Both in the Bellevue Hotel (1886-1890) and in the Church (1891-1904), the season for services was from March/April (depending on Easter) to November

From 1905 to 1908 and from 1922 to 1925 services were held throughout the year. During winter months, some services were held in Varenna and in Menaggio.

No services, or limited services, were held between 1909 - 1919 and 1940 to 1950 (from 1915 to 1918 many services were held in Villa Norella).

Services resumed in 1951 with a season from March through September.

From 1980 to today services are held from mid-May to the end of September.
