The Church has always had “locums”, mostly from the United Kingdom and Ireland, but some from France, Germany, Turkey, India, Egypt, Hong Kong and the United States.

The Bishop of Chichester (R.Drumford) was a frequent visitor from 1887-1895 and is noted as a generous donor to the Church. He passed away on 14th October 1895, aged 93, in Basle, on his way home.
